until you reach the traffic
light at Highway
19 (aka the Queen Kaahumanu Highway).
- Turn right onto Highway 19; continue for 0.5 miles.

miles.
- Turn left onto the
Hawaii Belt Road (aka
Mamalahoa Highway); continue for 19.4 miles.
- Turn right onto Daniel K. Inouye Hwy (Saddle Road);
continue for 23.3 miles.
- Turn left onto the
Mauna Kea Observatories
Access Road; continue for 6.4 miles.
- Hale Pohaku will be on
your right, just past the Visitors Center. Turn right into the
driveway and park in any available space in the front or side parking
lots.
