The Integration Time Calculator can be accessed via the following links:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/proposals.eaobservatory.org\/jcmt\/calculator\/heterodyne\/time\">Time required for target RMS<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>In this mode you can enter your desired sensitivity (<span class=\"formula\">1<i>\u03c3<\/i><\/span> RMS <span class=\"formula\"><i>T<\/i><sub><i>A<\/i><\/sub>*<\/span>). The calculator will determine the \u201cintegration time\u201d required per point in your map and from this calculate the total &#8220;elapsed&#8221; time required to perform the requested observation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/proposals.eaobservatory.org\/jcmt\/calculator\/heterodyne\/rms_el\">RMS expected in elapsed time<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>If you would like to start with the total &#8220;elapsed&#8221; time available for the observation, you should use this mode. The calculator will determine the corresponding \u201cintegration time\u201d per point and then estimate the sensitivity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/proposals.eaobservatory.org\/jcmt\/calculator\/heterodyne\/rms_int\">RMS for integration time per point<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>If you want to specify the &#8220;integration time&#8221; per point, select this mode.
