Additional funding support is provided by the Science and Technology Facilities Council of the United Kingdom and participating universities and organizations in the United Kingdom and Canada.\u201d<\/big><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For observations prior to March 2025, the following acknowledgement should appear at some point in any published papers containing data obtained with the JCMT:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><big>&#8220;These observations were obtained by the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope, operated by the East Asian Observatory on behalf of The National Astronomical Observatory of Japan; Academia Sinica Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics; the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute; the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand; Center for Astronomical Mega-Science (as well as the National Key R&amp;D Program of China with No. 2017YFA0402700). Additional funding support is provided by the Science and Technology Facilities Council of the United Kingdom and participating universities and organizations in the United Kingdom and Canada.\u201d<\/big><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Authors are also asked to give the identification number(s), i.e.<strong> &#8220;Program ID&#8221;<\/strong>, of the program(s) under which their data were obtained, e.g. M07AU05, M07BC13, M07BN10, or M07AI24. We recommend that this reference to the Program ID be made in the acknowledgement section at the end of the paper or in the Observations section of the paper.<\/p>\n<p>This project ID is included in your data files under the PROJECT FITS header.<\/p>\n<p>Publications involving SCUBA-2 data must reference the papers found at the following <a title=\"https:\/\/www.eaobservatory.org\/jcmt\/instrumentation\/continuum\/scuba-2\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eaobservatory.org\/jcmt\/instrumentation\/continuum\/scuba-2\/\">link<\/a>; publications involving HARP data must reference the paper found <a title=\"https:\/\/www.eaobservatory.org\/jcmt\/instrumentation\/heterodyne\/harp\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eaobservatory.org\/jcmt\/instrumentation\/heterodyne\/harp\/\">here<\/a>. If appropriate, please also acknowledge the provision of visiting instrument(s).<\/p>\n<h3>SCUBA-2<\/h3>\n<p>Papers containing SCUBA-2 data should include the following sentence <b>in addition<\/b>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><big> Additional funds for the construction of SCUBA-2 were provided by the Canada Foundation for Innovation. <\/big><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>N\u0101makanui<\/h3>\n<p>Papers containing N\u0101makanui data should include the following sentence <b>in addition<\/b>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><big>N\u0101makanui was constructed and funded by ASIAA in Taiwan, with funding for the mixers provided by<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"> ASIAA and at 230GHz by EAO. The <\/span><big><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">N\u0101makanui instrument is a backup receiver for the GLT<\/span>.<\/big><\/big><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Research Notes<\/h3>\n<p>Due to the very low word count limit imposed on published Research Notes, the below text may be used for <strong>Research Notes only<\/strong> instead of the aforementioned standard acknowledgement text.<\/p>\n<p>For observations after March 2025, the following acknowledgement should appear at some point in any Research Notes\u00a0containing data obtained with the JCMT:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;The JCMT is operated by the EAO on behalf of ASIAA and NARIT. Additional funding support is provided by the STFC and participating universities in the UK and Canada.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>For observations prior to March 2025, the following acknowledgement should appear at some point in any Research Notes\u00a0containing data obtained with the JCMT:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;The JCMT is operated by the EAO on behalf of NAOJ; ASIAA; KASI; CAMS as well as the National Key R&amp;D Program of China (No. 2017YFA0402700). Additional funding support is provided by the STFC and participating universities in the UK and Canada.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Acknowledging pre-EAO observations<\/h3>\n<p>The following acknowledgement should appear at some point in any published papers containing data obtained with the JCMT <strong>prior to the handover to EAO on March 1st 2015<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><big> &#8220;The James Clerk Maxwell Telescope has historically been operated by the Joint Astronomy Centre on behalf of the Science and Technology Facilities Council of the United Kingdom, the National Research Council of Canada and the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research.&#8221; <\/big><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As with EAO-era observations, authors are\u00a0 asked to give the <b>identification number(s)<\/b>, i.e. <i>&#8220;Program ID&#8221;<\/i>, of the program(s) under which their data were obtained, e.g. M07AU05, M07BC13, M07BN10, or M07AI24. We recommend that this reference to the Program ID be made in the acknowledgement section at the end of the paper or in the Observations section of the paper.
