Prices vary but one meal should cost typically less than 10 USD in many restaurants. A good place to find restaurants is in the alleys of XinSheng S. Rd. and Roosevelt Rd.<\/p>\n<p>Please note lunch boxes will be provided for meeting participants.<\/p>\n<h2>Banquet<\/h2>\n<p>The workshop banquet will be on the evening of Nov 7, starting from 18:00. The banquet information slide shown at the coffee break can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaobservatory.org\/jcmt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/11\/2019_JCMT_dinner.pdf\">here<\/a>. This restaurant serves Thai food (see TripAdvisor info <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/Restaurant_Review-g13808515-d4105251-Reviews-Spice_Market-Xinyi_District_Taipei.html\">here<\/a>), and will offer vegetarian options. The location is near the Taipei 101 area and the famous Eslite bookstore. On the MRT map, the relevant stations are indicated. Participants can take MRT from &#8220;Taipei City Hall&#8221; on the Blue Line, transfer to Taipower Building on the Green Line, and walk for around 10 minutes back to the hotel. Or for those who might wander off to the 101 Building, you can board the MRT from &#8220;Taipei 101&#8221; station on the Red Line and transfer to the Green Line.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Transportation From International Airports<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Most international flights land in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.taoyuan-airport.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport<\/a> (Airport Code: TPE) which is situated 40km (24.8 miles) southwest of Taipei.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tsa.gov.tw\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Taipei Songshan Airport<\/a> (Airport code: TSA) serves domestic flights and short-haul services to mainland China and Japan-Haneda(HND)\/Korea-Gimpo(GMP).
