The East Asian Observatory is pleased to invite JCMT observing proposals with Principal Investigators (PIs) affiliated with Canadian institutions only<\/strong> for a special 21A Supplementary Call for Proposals. Proposal submission is via the JCMT proposal handling system, Hedwig. For full details, and for proposal submission, please\u00a0see here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The proposal submission deadline for this Special 21A Supplementary Call for Proposals is 2020-10-29 22:00 UTC.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This Call offers time for two Canadian JCMT user communities:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A Canadian JCMT Consortium, consisting of the following institutions: McMaster University<\/a>, Queen\u2019s University<\/a>, University of Alberta<\/a>, University of Manitoba<\/a>, University of Montreal<\/a>;<\/li>\n
  2. All Canada-based institutions, including<\/b> those listed above.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Proposals with PIs from the first above group are eligible for any of the available Canadian JCMT time available in semester 21A. Proposals with PIs from all other Canadian institutions are eligible to apply for the fraction of the Canadian JCMT time available in 21A that is funded at the national level (by ACURA<\/a> and NRC-HAA<\/a>).<\/p>\n
