This spectrum was captured on the night of January 13 2021 (UT 20200114).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">`\u0100weoweo operates between 283 \u2013 365 GHz and is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eaobservatory.org\/jcmt\/instrumentation\/heterodyne\/dual-and-single-sideband\/\">Sideband Separating<\/a> (2SB) instrument. When commissioned, `\u0100weoweo, will be available to both JCMT Users (PI and Large Programs &#8211; perfect for sensitive single pointing observations), and VLBI users (as part of the Event Horizon Telescope and the East Asian VLBI Network).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaobservatory.org\/jcmt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/01\/aweoweo-a20210114_00033_01_rsp-first-light.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11685 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eaobservatory.org\/jcmt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/01\/aweoweo-a20210114_00033_01_rsp-first-light.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"680\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>JCMT staff presented &#8220;Commissioning of N\u0101makanui on the JCMT&#8221; at the SPIE conference in December 2020.
