Proposal submission is via the JCMT proposal handling system, Hedwig. For full details, and for proposal submission, please see<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"pf-content\">\n<p class=\"\"><a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/proposals.eaobservatory.org\/\">https:\/\/proposals.eaobservatory.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The 22B Call for Proposals will close on <strong>October 12th 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Eligibility requirements for the 23A call can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eaobservatory.org\/jcmt\/proposals\/eao_eligibility\/\">JCMT\u2019s eligibility page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">If this is your first time using Hedwig, you should \u2018Log in\u2019 and generate an account. As a reminder, to get up-to-date information about the JCMT please subscribe to our email list, to do so please send an email to <a href=\"mailto:jcmt_users+subscribe@eaobservatory.org\">jcmt_users+subscribe@eaobservatory.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">The Expanding Partner Program returns for the 23A\u00a0Call for Proposals<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">PIs from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and India requesting &lt;15 hours will be automatically approved* for time under the \u201cExpanding Partner Program\u201d &#8211; a program to encourage astronomers from new JCMT partners to make use of the JCMT.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><em>* approval reliant upon the program being technically feasible, without clashing with existing proprietary data (as per observatory requirements), <i>dependent on\u00a0weather\/instrument pressures and\u00a0<\/i>with adjustments in line with recommendations by the TAC.
