This project makes available to the community uniformly reduced observations of most public SCUBA-2 850\u00b5m observations taken before 2013-08-01, as well as coadds and emission catalogs.\u00a0 Please see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaobservatory.org\/jcmt\/science\/archive\/lr1\/\">our web page on the JCMT-LR1<\/a> for more details.<\/p>\n<h2>JCMT-LR1 (September 2015: SCUBA-2 850\u00b5m)<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Public 850\u00b5m SCUBA-2 observations taken between 2011-02-01 and 2013-08-01.<\/li>\n<li>Gridded onto <a href=\"http:\/\/adsabs.harvard.edu\/abs\/2005ApJ...622..759G\">HEALPix<\/a> tiles using the <a href=\"https:\/\/dx.doi.org\/10.1111%2Fj.1365-2966.2007.12297.x\">HPX <\/a>projection.<\/li>\n<li>All reduced using the same SMURF makemap <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/Starlink\/starlink\/blob\/master\/applications\/smurf\/examples\/dimmconfig_jsa_generic.lis\">dimmconfig &#8216;jsa_generic&#8217; <\/a>(included in the <a href=\"http:\/\/starlink.eao.hawaii.edu.\">Starlink 2015A release<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Coadds of all the reduced non-pointing observations which passed Quality Assurance coadded onto a single tile.<\/li>\n<li>Catalogues of detected (&gt;5\u03c3) regions of contiguous emission (extents) towards each tile.<\/li>\n<li>Catalogues of local peaks within the extents of each tile.<\/li>\n<li>Over 2000 hours of observing time included.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cadc-ccda.hia-iha.nrc-cnrc.gc.ca\/en\/search\/?Observation.proposal.id=JCMT-LR1&amp;Observation.collection=JCMT#resultTableTab\">Search CADC with proposal ID=&#8217;JCMT-LR1&#8242;<\/a> to view the coadds and catalogues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The JCMT is pleased to announce that its JCMT Legacy Release 1 (SCUBA-2 850\u00b5m) data set is now publicly available.
