This information is available in the <span style=\"font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace\">pol2map<\/span> log file, along with the rest of the <span style=\"font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace\">makemap<\/span> or <span style=\"font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace\">skyloop<\/span> output.\u00a0 However, the log file can be very long and so finding the relevant information may\u00a0 not be straight-forward, particularly if you are unfamiliar with the screen output usually created by <span style=\"font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace\">makemap<\/span> or <span style=\"font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace\">skyloop.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>To help with this, I have written a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eao.hawaii.edu\/~dberry\/pol2logcheck.py\">simple python script called pol2logcheck.py<\/a>, which searches a specified <span style=\"font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace\">pol2map<\/span> log file for the relevant information and reports any observations that did not converge.
